Canada – British Columbia & Motion Notion Festival

Hello from the other side! Me and my homie Sebastian Otto were in Canada. Especially for a music festival (Motion Notion) but the landscape is incredible awesome so I couldn’t stop photographing.

In the background you see incredible water falls, later that day made a hike to those Wapta Falls.

If you’re on the road you need good food: Toast and Philadelphia = best combination!

The colour of the water at lake Emerald is stunning.

Not the worst place for a wedding.

Later we went back to the festival site. My friends Drunken Masters and Marten Hørger played there.

This are Sherley and Kevin. He’s the director of motion notion festival. An incredible guy I met earlier this year at Glastonbury. He invited us to come over to Canada. Definitely one of my best festival expieriences.

Some shots of those festival people. Motion Notion is very alternative, everyone shows his individual style. I didnt spot anyone with a regular outfit. But see at your own:

A dubstep legend was playinig on saturday night: DATSIK.

This is us, the media crew of Motion Notion 2017. Awesome dudes!

One day we made a trip into the western part of British Columbia. Basti isn’t anymore afraight of heights, haha.

Kinbasket lake is another great place out here. Full of nature and cyan water. That called for a jump into it!

At least alcohol and beer is really expensive, you’ll get it at your local liquor store.

We found this lake (lake marion) after driving like an hour through the nowhere. It wasn’t easy to get down to the pier, so I ran my drone to check the optimal way. 😀

Former this bridge was used to be the highway, now it’s just concrete in the nature.

Canadas best Burgers are made at the Deer Lodge in Lake Louise. Anyhow: Lake Louise is one of the most awesome places we’ve visited.

r u kidding me?

Around Lake Louise you can do lots of hiking. So we went to the top of the rocks and visited a very small and cozy tea house. Also we made some new friends:

Feeling sweaty after the trip we decided to go swimming in Lake Louise. But it was freezing cold. It’s all glacier water from the glacier in the background. Truly the coldest water I’ve ever been into.

So, happy days Canada! Hope to see you soon. Now we’re heading off to San Francisco. Follow my instagram to see more awesome photos. Thanks for reading!
